"Colouring is a great way to introduce yourself to the concept of mindfulness," according to a recent post on Huffington Post UK. "I realised that colouring makes my headaches go away. I concentrate, my breathing slows down and I move into a deep calm," says Cynthia Riviere.
So, take a time out, grab some of your favorite pens or markers, and spend some time coloring. There was a reason you loved it so much as a kid. To get you started, The Togetherness Project put together a little coloring book of our own.
Download it for free, and take some time for yourself and relax and get lost for a bit. We'd love to hear about some of your experiences with coloring and/or art therapy. Please share!
